Become a key member of Windsor Fire & Rescue Services as a Firefighter. Respond to emergencies in various weather conditions while providing vital medical assistance and firefighting support.

The City of Windsor is seeking a dedicated Firefighter for a regular full-time role. Ideal candidates must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure. You will be responsible for firefighting, rescue operations, and medical emergencies, requiring physical fitness and a commitment to ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous material calls

• Perform CPR and life-saving procedures as needed

• Drive and operate fire apparatus during emergencies

• Maintain fire station, equipment, and firefighting gear

• Participate in public education and community relations activities

Requirements:

• Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Class ‘D’ Driver’s License with ‘Z’ endorsement

• Current Standard First Aid & Basic Life Support Certificate

• Completion of Job Related Agility Test

• NFPA 1001 certification is an asset
