You will oversee drug therapy and medication distribution, working within automated dispensing systems (PYXIS).
Your role focuses on enhancing patient outcomes through effective communication and adherence to ethical standards. A background in hospital settings will be vital for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient-centered medication therapy management
• Supervise medication distribution for optimal safety
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Follow CSHP standards and hospital policies
• Participate in ongoing educational and professional growth
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
• Must be licensed with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Hospital experience preferred
• French language skills an advantage
• Must be available for all shifts as needed
