Support meaningful engagement as an Elderly Activity Aide at Cogir Senior Living. Your creativity will enhance the quality of life for residents every day.

In this role, reporting to the Active Living Manager, you will assist in organizing and implementing activities for seniors. A background in Recreation or Gerontology will support your efforts in maintaining departmental records, encouraging resident participation, and communicating upcoming events. Your compassionate nature is essential for facilitating outings and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on planning engaging programs

• Maintain assessments and departmental records

• Facilitate resident participation in activities and outings

• Ensure effective communication across departments

• Participate in educational training for current best practices

Requirements:

• College diploma in Recreation or related field required

• Experience with the elderly is strongly preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Valid driver's license and Vulnerable Sector Check needed
