Your role will be pivotal in executing and monitoring treatment programs.
This position includes facilitating exercises, documenting treatment sessions, and providing direct support under the Physiotherapist’s supervision. With a 38-hour workweek from March 7th to April 8th, your contribution will be essential to our residents' recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual and group exercises for residents
• Document treatments and progress accurately
• Assist residents with walking, sitting, and transferring safely
• Report health changes to the Physiotherapist
• Administer therapies like TENS and hot packs
Requirements:
• Graduation from a Physiotherapy Assistant program or equivalent
• Excellent multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with elderly populations
• Preferred experience in Long Term Care or Retirement facilities
• Must have valid police check for Vulnerable Sector and TB clearance
