In this full-time role, you will perform essential psychological assessments for students needing special education services. Collaborating with parents and educators, your work will involve consulting on necessary programming and supporting children in crisis situations. Additionally, you'll facilitate professional development initiatives for educational staff and coordinate with external agencies for comprehensive support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver psychological assessments for referred students
• Consult with educators on programming needs
• Assist students involved in crisis situations
• Lead professional development activities for staff
• Act as liaison with external psychological services
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Clinical or School Psychology
• Registered or eligible with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Clinical experience with children and youth
• Familiarity with I.P.R.C. procedures is desirable
• Commitment to create inclusive environments
