Join Windsor Regional Hospital as an Orthopedic Technologist in Ambulatory Care, collaborating with surgeons and healthcare teams. This role emphasizes patient care, safety standards, and effective service delivery.
As an Orthopedic Technologist, you will report to the Manager of Ambulatory Care and work directly with orthopedic surgeons. Your duties will align with safety compliance while ensuring high-quality patient support. This position requires proficiency in orthopedic equipment and the ability to manage a diverse workload within a busy clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist orthopedic surgeons during procedures and patient care
• Apply and maintain orthopedic devices with patient comfort
• Interpret x-ray images for fractures and dislocations
• Promote a safe and compliant work atmosphere
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited Orthopedic Technologist Program
• Current registration with CSOT and BCLS certification
• Knowledge of orthopedic supplies and techniques
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment
