As an Optical Associate, you will engage with patients both in person and online while educating them about eyewear options tailored to their needs. This position emphasizes interpreting prescriptions, fitting new eyewear accurately, and supporting clinic operations to ensure the best patient experiences possible.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome patients at the clinic
• Educate on eyewear options and frame selection
• Interpret optical prescriptions provided by the optometrist
• Perform frame measurements for proper fit
• Assist with billing and coordinate appointments
Requirements:
• Previous optical or retail experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in technology and MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with a proactive growth mindset
