Technical Infrastructure Manager

Position: Technical Infrastructure Manager at City
Lead technology infrastructure initiatives with the City of Windsor. This managerial role focuses on overseeing data centers, server management, and team development in a municipal environment.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will drive operations related to technology infrastructure and support staff management. Key responsibilities include capacity planning, technology refresh initiatives, and service delivery measurement. Your leadership will also ensure the integrity and security of critical systems and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage servers, storage, communication, and networking effectively

• Coach Technical Support Analysts and plan workforce development

• Define service delivery goals and measure performance

• Ensure mission-critical systems are operational at all times

• Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, and project management

Requirements:

• Graduate degree with 4 years of tech services experience

• Managerial/supervisory experience required

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
