The Position
This Supply Chain Management role will support the end‑to‑end materials ‘Must Win’ quoting process for strategic customer bids. This encompasses product data review and setup, sourcing strategy development, BOM sourcing and pricing, and proposal development, supporting key market segments in the ATS division.
Key Responsibilities
Works with internal and external customers to resolve product data integrity issues
Work closely with business development, supply chain directors, commodity management and sourcing teams to develop and deploy effective sourcing strategies
Deliver competitive and timely material pricing solutions
Lead and support process improvement initiatives
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Ability to interpret and analyze technical product data at both component and assembly level (electronic & mechanical), and summarize any gaps in information required for quoting
Demonstrate ability to use web platforms to pull commercial & technical info for electronics components
Ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze costing and pricing data
Ability to analyze financial data and understand the impact of material costs on project profitability
Demonstrate understanding of how an EMS supply chain works and key commodity cost drivers
Demonstrate awareness of supplier pricing and strategies
Ability to effectively build relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable outcomes for Celestica
Demonstrate strong systems skills, including common office platforms such as MS Office (proficiency in Excel, Power Point) and Celestica‑specific tools such as Quote App, Scavenger, SAP, PowerBI, Matrix, IHS etc.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills
Demonstrate ability to be detail‑oriented
Demonstrate strong multi‑tasking, organization & time‑management skills
Ability to project manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to influence, motivate and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams based in multiple countries to deliver projects within required time frames
Ability to proactively identify and resolve complex issues & problems internally and externally
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, internally and externally
Ability to effectively summarize and communicate complex information and analysis to diverse audiences (up & down stream)
Ability to develop processes and identify opportunities for improvement within existing processes
Ability to develop and champion novel solutions where there is ambiguity or the project is unique compared to typical opportunities
Physical Demands
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.)
Typical Experience
3 to 6 years relevant experience in supply chain or procurement.
Typical Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (STEM or Business), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $90k-$120k annually. Celestica provides eligible employees (those scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week) with medical, dental, vision, short and long‑term disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits and a 401(k) plan with company match.
