The Manager of Purchasing and Inventory Control is vital for ensuring efficient operations at Mucci Farms. This leadership position involves supervising a team of Buyers and Inventory Clerks while effectively managing purchases for both direct and indirect materials. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct a team of Buyers and Inventory Clerks

• Manage all aspects of direct and indirect spend, including packaging

• Conduct contract negotiations and validate supplier bids

• Work with cross-functional teams on packaging development

• Analyze current inventory to identify areas for efficiency improvement

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education is essential

• At least 5 years in a purchasing management role

• Proven negotiation and leadership capabilities

• Highly skilled in MS Office, especially Excel

• PMAC Certificate and/or C.S.C.M.P. certification preferred
