Raw Materials Buyer at Narmco Group

Join the Narmco Group as a Raw Materials Buyer, focusing on the procurement of steel and aluminum in a dynamic automotive environment. This role also involves travel across Windsor, Ontario, and occasionally to the US and Mexico.

As the Raw Materials Buyer for Narmco Group, you'll be crucial in sourcing and managing raw materials for our production processes. Candidates should have a Business Administration diploma and 1-3 years of purchasing experience. Be prepared to interact with suppliers and manage relational aspects to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quote competitively for steel and aluminum procurement

• Ensure appropriate supply sources for material quotes

• Follow up on steel claims related to manufacturing costs

• Resolve accounting discrepancies in invoicing

• Manage manufacturing MRP and supplier releases

Requirements:

• College or university degree in Business Administration

• 1-3 years of purchasing experience with raw materials

• Must be bondable and hold a valid driver’s license

• Strong Excel and data analysis skills

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
