Position: Replacement Custodian Jobs
The Greater Essex County District School Board seeks Replacement Custodians for day or afternoon shifts in Windsor and Essex County. Your cleaning experience will help maintain a welcoming school environment.

This CUPE 27 Bargaining Unit position requires candidates to have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and possess prior cleaning experience. You will operate cleaning equipment and contribute to a safe, clean environment for students and staff. Commitment to equity and diversity is vital in these roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep facilities clean and organized at various locations

• Use cleaning machinery and equipment properly

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

• Demonstrate commitment to an anti-racist, inclusive space

• Provide a satisfactory Police Clearance documentation

Requirements:

• Must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma

• Previous school or commercial cleaning experience is an asset

• Flexibility to work day and afternoon shifts

• Capacity to support diverse community needs

• Willingness to accommodate special needs requests
