Can Fill and Seamer Specialist

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Highbury Canco team as a  Can Fill and Seamer Specialist . As a Can Fill and Seamer Specialist you will you will oversee can filler and seamer design approval, component selection, and coordination of filler and seamer installations across the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing assigned projects from conception to closeout, ensuring timely and budget-compliant deliverables.
Identifying and mitigating project risks within resource and budget constraints, including safety, quality, and performance.
Ensuring compliance with Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews and project-related protocols.
Coordinating cross-functional teams to develop and install projects, documenting objectives and addressing issues.
Developing and maintaining can filler and seamer systems and maintenance documentation.
Serving as a main source of contact in identifying, planning, and communicating preventative maintenance, as well as follow up;
Establishing and maintaining plant-wide can filler and seamer strategies.
Providing clear directions to trades personnel, including contractors, regarding work scope and adherence to policies.
Identifying resource needs and collaborating with managers to ensure timely project completion.
Assisting in troubleshooting can filler and seamer equipment and associated machinery.
Communicating task completion, project progress, and duties to management and stakeholders.
Troubleshooting and rectifying can filler and seamer related issues within the entire facility.
Fulfilling additional assigned duties as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of Mechanical/ Millwright Trade Certification, College/ University related education, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in can filler and seamer machinery or related roles.
Proficiency with Angelus, JBT, Continental, Elmar, Phaudler; fillers and seamers and associated machinery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and rectify complex filler and seamer issues.
Knowledge of safe work practices associated with confined spaces, working with heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools and chemicals systems.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information and lead a team.
