We are currently looking for a Junior Overhead Door Technician to join our growing Service Team based out of our Windsor branch. This is a field-based role where you'll work on overhead door systems which includes installation, troubleshooting, and service work for a wide range of commercial and industrial clients across the Windsor region.
This role is currently vacant and is being actively recruited for.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Repair automatic and manual overhead doors at customer's facility
Install and service commercial garage doors
Read manuals and use resources to correctly perform repairs for different brands of doors serviced
Maintain inventory on company service vehicle in order to effectively perform service calls
Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks and assignments
Remain in contact with the Service Administrator daily
Employment Type:
Full Time, Permanent
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, weekend work as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Basic understanding of the principals of hand tools and power tools
Aptitude of technical and electromechanical repair skills are an asset
Must have a valid G class driver's license
Strong communication and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willing and able to work on a rotating on-call schedule when required
