Reporting to the Lead Hand & Supervisor, the Crew Helper/Technician will be responsible for conducting various general cleaning services/event set up & tear down. This is a part time position with the opportunity for more hours if requested.

The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this job. The tasks and the time spent performing each task may vary as business needs require. Service Master Clean maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion.

• Perform assigned cleaning services carefully, promptly, and efficiently
• Assist Crew Leader with any additional cleaning/restoration duties as directed
• Arrive at the office as per the scheduled time(s) to prepare for daily schedule
• Resolve any production, mechanical and scheduling difficulties encountered
• Handle and maintain equipment, supplies, vehicles and products assigned and report any equipment malfunction promptly to the Supervisor
• Arrive to work sites on a timely basis and report any changes to schedule immediately to the Supervisor
• Report any customer problem or any damage to customers property the same day in which it occurred the Supervisor
• Follow all policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned space
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment used
• Prepare work space with materials and equipment for use the following day
• Attend weekly meetings with production team and contribute ideas to the improvement of Service Master in areas related to production, sales and supervision
• Develop and maintain skills in cleaning with a focus on high quality production
• Perform service as requested in the warehouse and office facilities
• Attend training workshops as required
• Help train new crew helpers/technicians in accordance with Service Master standards

• Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all client facing activities
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety policies
• Adherence to all company workplace policies
• Perform other duties as may be required

Education Required:

High School Diploma

Other Education/Certification/Training preferred: n/a

Work experience required:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in cleaning services. Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
