Maintenance Coordinator Home Repairs

Coordinate home maintenance with general repair, safety, and equipment skills while supporting residents and staff through dependable daily service.

The Maintenance Coordinator performs routine maintenance and servicing throughout the home. Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, this role maintains equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and grounds. Work includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, alongside scheduling and supervising repairs. The position also supports fire prevention, contractors, inspections, records, and purchasing.

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repair operations
• Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work
• Complete preventative maintenance programs and regular rounds
• Refer specialized problems to contractors and monitor work
• Maintain records, supplies, equipment, and safe work areas

• Secondary school graduation or approved equivalent
• Experience in general maintenance and repairs
• Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge
• Ability to supervise others and communicate effectively
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
