Lead used vehicle operations at 1622 Sylvestre Drive in Tecumseh, Ontario, applying appraisal expertise and market-based pricing to drive performance.
The 401 Group of Companies seeks an experienced Used Car Manager for its Mitsubishi dealership. This hands-on leadership role oversees inventory, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. You will source vehicles, manage aging, coordinate reconditioning, and guide the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:- Appraise trade-ins and make strategic retail, wholesale, or auction decisions
- Source inventory through Open Lane, EBlock, auctions, and private purchases
- Maintain inventory levels and monitor 30-, 60-, and 90-day aging
- Coordinate service and detail turnaround within one to three days
- Present inventory, sales, profitability, and KPI reports to executives
- Three to five years of automotive management experience
- Knowledge of appraisal, wholesale purchasing, pricing, and inventory management
- Leadership experience developing and motivating sales teams
- Understanding of OMVIC regulations and Ontario automotive legislation
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
