Production Associate

Job description:

Job Duties:

• Process cannabis into required packaging.
• Accurate completion of all required documents and sanitization procedures.
• Operate packaging equipment and execute packaging orders in line with company and industry standards and regulations; complete required documentation (e.g., packaging worksheets)
• Participate in post-harvest activities including drying, bucking, trimming, curing, packaging, and inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with other departments.
• Follow written instructions to ensure products are assembled and packed in accordance with customer specifications.
• Executes customer orders as directed ensuring the use of correct label, date code and any other customer requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation throughout all operations.
• Ensure accuracy in data entry of weights using scanner guns and written completion of production records.
• Confirm final product labeling and inventory reconciliation
• Ability to complete accurate data entry and documentation.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Ability to stay organized and follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency of product.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong administrative abilities.
• Monday to Saturday schedule 7 am to 5 pm with an hour unpaid lunch.

Your Environment:

• Physical ability to lift up to 30lb.
• Overtime as required.
• Hazards associated with the trade.
• Noisy with fumes.
• Long hours may be required occasionally.
• Prolonged standing, walking, lifting, squatting, and bending.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.

Pay: From $17.67 per hour.
