Competitive pay starting at $25 - $30 per hour. This is a rotating shift (2 weeks days/2 weeks afternoons) with a 7.5% afternoon shift premium when on afternoons! (On afternoons - earn $26.87 - $32.25 per hour total)
SPIROL Industries has immediate openings for Experienced Set Up Mechanics to work in our busy production manufacturing facility.

shims, laminated shims, laser cut shim, spacers, spring pins, solid pins, alignment dowels, compression limiters, thrust washers, disc springs, inserts for plastic, and installation equipment.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Set-Up Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring efficient machine performance and high-quality production output. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing set ups as assigned, ensuring all products produced meets all specifications, workmanship standards, machine speeds and efficiencies.
- Conducting minor repairs to maintain machine set up.
- Anticipating and preventing quality issues before scrap is created.
- Promoting continuous improvement.
- Visual and dimensional quality checks using inspection gauges.
- Raw material review prior to production start.
- Loading new material at machine as required.
- Daily maintenance on machines (lubricants etc.).
- If required - complete all responsibilities of Operator
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum one year of experience as a Set Up Mechanic
- A high school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Flexible to work a day/afternoon shift rotation
- Safety-conscious and eager to learn
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Ability to obtain overhead crane and forklift certification
- * Safety shoes required
