Pan Room Operator Salt

Join Windsor Salt's operations team as a Pan Room Operator in Windsor, Ontario. This full-time, on-site role requires 4th Class Operating Engineer qualification and involves overseeing food-grade evaporation operations.

The Pan Room Operator will report directly to the Production Manager and is essential to the success of the food-grade evaporation process. You'll utilize your experience in a manufacturing facility to communicate effectively with the maintenance team and contribute to a safe, clean workplace while adhering to standard practices. This position demands a commitment to quality and safety in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate food-grade evaporation operations efficiently

• Communicate and solve problems with the maintenance team

• Maintain a clean and safe workplace environment

• Support the Pan Room team with additional tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience

• Current Provincial 4th Class Operating Engineer certificate

• Certifications in GMP and confined spaces are assets

• Commitment to safety and teamwork

• Background check and medical exam required
