Canpaco, a division of Imperial Dade Canada, has a job open in Kingsville, ON. The Forklift Operator is a self‑motivated team player who will be an active part of our Distribution department in the areas of picking, shipping and stocking.
The hours for this position are from 2:00pm to 11:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for but not limited to loading and unloading trucks.
- Picking orders.
- Putting away finished goods off machine.
- Putting away stock received on trucks.
- Taking away finished pallets from machines and replacing with empty pallets to the machines.
- Operating tray assembly equipment when extra labour running is required to speed up production.
Qualifications:
- Previous or current experience with the Counter Balance required with a valid license.
- Previous warehousing experience required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills required (able to read, write and speak English).
- Self‑motivated, dependable and reliable.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
- Good decision‑making skills and ability to work independently.
- Secondary School Graduate or related experience.
Working/Other
Conditions:
- Working onsite in a dry climate‑controlled warehouse environment.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment.
- Minimal to moderate exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and vibrations conducive to a warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment as required.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work extended hours, which may be required from time to time.
This position has a salary range of $18.00 to $19.00.
