Packaging Equipment Operator Salt

Windsor Salt is seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Equipment Operator for its production plant in Belle Plaine. This position requires expertise in operating packaging machinery, maintaining quality control, and ensuring GMP compliance within a food-grade environment. This role also emphasizes teamwork and effective communication with fellow operators and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate bagging machinery, ensuring proper filling and coding

• Collaborate with the Forklift Operator for safety and productivity

• Maintain accurate production records and perform weight checks

• Deliver salt samples to the lab for quality assurance

• Conduct preventive maintenance on packaging equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; post-secondary preferred

• Experience in manufacturing preferred

• Familiarity with mobile equipment is an asset

• Understanding of Food Safety Process Controls

• Physical ability to lift 25 kg and manage various tasks
