Machine Shop Saw Operator Position

Join Select Tool as a Saw Operator, specializing in precise cutting operations in Ontario. Emphasize accuracy and detail with every task you undertake.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, your role will include setting up and operating metal-saw machines efficiently. You will be responsible for ordering stock, transferring materials, and ensuring all cuts conform to specifications. A commitment to safety and ISO documentation will be crucial in meeting production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate metal-saw machines with skill

• Interpret job orders for precise cutting specs

• Maintain inventory and prepare materials for cutting

• Load/unload trucks using appropriate equipment

• Ensure proper maintenance of the saw

Requirements:

• Experience running a saw is an asset

• Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset

• Valid Ontario Driver's license

• Ability to lift between 10 and 50 lbs

• Follow prescribed ISO procedures and practices
