Position: Package Equipment Operator Salt
Windsor Salt is seeking a Package Equipment Operator for its Belle Plaine facility. This role focuses on safely operating packaging lines while adhering to strict food-grade quality standards.

As a Package Equipment Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and streamlined packaging of various salt products. Your responsibilities will include operating bagging machinery, maintaining accurate production records, and collaborating with team members to promote efficiency and safety. A commitment to quality and adherence to GMP is essential for success in this food-grade environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate bagger and ensure bags are filled correctly

• Collaborate with Forklift Operator for safe operations

• Maintain production records and check weights of bags

• Deliver salt samples to lab as needed

• Perform preventive and minor maintenance on equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; post-secondary preferred

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing preferred

• Familiarity with automated equipment is a plus

• Must adhere to Food Safety Process Controls

• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in varying temperatures
