Position: Join Salt as Package Operator
Windsor Salt is looking for a dedicated Package Equipment Operator for its Belle Plaine facility. This role is focused on operating packaging lines while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

As a Package Equipment Operator, you will ensure the efficient and safe operation of bagging lines at Windsor Salt. This involves maintaining production quality through accurate filling and coding of bags, maintaining records, and performing maintenance when necessary.

Your role is crucial in contributing to product quality while following strict GMP protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate packaging lines and ensure quality control

• Coordinate with Forklift Operator for safe operations

• Keep production records updated and perform check-weighing

• Assist with delivering samples to the laboratory

• Conduct preventive maintenance on bagging equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma is required; additional education preferred

• Experience in manufacturing settings is a plus

• Knowledge of automated equipment is beneficial

• Must understand Food Safety Process Controls

• Physical capability to lift up to 25 kg
