Position: Automation Technician ON
Explore a full-time role as an Automation Technician at a leading automotive manufacturing facility in Windsor, ON. Engage with robotic and mechanical systems to ensure production uptime at multiple sites.

This hands-on position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and enhancing robotics, electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems. Candidates should have a solid foundation in mechanical and electrical work. A focus on plant automation is essential alongside a willingness to resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve equipment issues promptly

• Troubleshoot robotic weld cells and production lines

• Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs

• Use PLC interfaces for fault diagnosis

• Execute preventative maintenance for automation equipment

Requirements:

• Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read electrical schematics

• Familiarity with PLC equipment, Allen-Bradley preferred

• Basic PLC monitoring and diagnosis experience
