Plate Laser Operator

Essex Weld Solutions is seeking an experienced  Plate Laser Operator  to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with CNC/Laser operation experience who is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operate plate laser equipment safely and efficiently

Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and customer specifications

Ensure products are burr-free and meet quality standards

Perform inspections and critical measurements

Assist with employee training and mentoring

Support 5S, continuous improvement, and waste reduction initiatives

Follow OSHA requirements and all workplace safety procedures

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of CNC/Laser operation experience

Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes

Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately

Experience working in a Windows-based environment

Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stand for extended periods

Steel-toe boots and reliable transportation required

Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed

CNC Diploma is considered an asset
