As a Tooling Buyer, you will be responsible for overseeing tooling procurement and technical evaluations in a dynamic Tier-1 automotive environment. The role is suited for candidates with significant experience in tooling and manufacturing processes, keen on driving quality and cost efficiency through strategic sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sourcing activities for injection molds and EOA tooling

• Perform cost analysis and supplier benchmarking

• Collaborate with engineering and operational teams for alignment

• Monitor tooling progress and manage risk assessments

• Handle commercial aspects and supplier agreements

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering or similar degree

• Minimum 3 years experience in tooling sourcing

• In-depth knowledge of APQP, GD&T, and fittings

• Background in cost engineering and manufacturing

• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
