Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Loader Operator in Windsor, ON, focused on effective loading and safety compliance. This position combines material handling with site cleanliness efforts.
As a Loader Operator, you will work with mobile equipment to manage loads and assist with site maintenance. Interaction with drivers and performing daily equipment inspections are essential parts of this role. You will also be responsible for sorting materials to identify high-grade scrap.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load/unload materials using equipment or manually
• Sort high-grade metals from recycled materials
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and safety
• Assist in the maintenance of plant equipment
• Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or experience operating equipment
• Strong communication and record-keeping abilities
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Pre-employment drug screening required
