Join Tilray’s Extraction & Refinement team as an Extraction Associate in Leamington, Ontario. Engage in safe cannabis production while ensuring top-notch quality standards every day.
In this pivotal role, you'll be executing extraction methods including butane extraction, crystallization, and distillation. The position emphasizes safety via adherence to Good Production Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. Those who excel may advance to Extraction Technician roles post-training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute daily production tasks in multiple work centers
• Maintain a safe work environment for everyone
• Ensure compliance with established SOPs
• Produce and manage cannabis extracts responsibly
• Report any equipment or inventory issues promptly
Requirements:
• Degree in a relevant scientific field
• At least two years of experience in regulated production
• Proficiency in chemical unit operations
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Physical capability to stand long hours and lift 50lbs
