The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the manufacturing area, ensuring effective team management, operational efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. This role fosters a positive work culture and drives continuous improvement per Select Finishing’s strategic objectives.
Duties- Team Leadership and Development:
- Directly manage a team of manufacturing technicians and operators, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and performance discussions, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
- Develop team members through targeted training programs and career development opportunities.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee production processes to ensure timely execution and quality compliance.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in efficiency and output.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Uphold all company safety protocols, conducting regular safety training and audits.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Implement preventative measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Process Improvement:
- Champion initiatives aimed at process optimization, waste reduction, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control team to uphold product standards and address any quality issues.
- Encourage a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation within the team.
Minimum Relevant Work Experience (years)
3-5 years
