In this rewarding role, you will set up CNC machining centres to produce intricate components, interpret complex engineering drawings, and carry out detailed inspections. Your collaboration with engineering teams will drive continuous improvements, ensuring excellence in production processes and output quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CNC equipment and manage setup efficiently
• Interpret complex engineering designs and follow specifications
• Prove out CNC programs and adjust settings as needed
• Monitor tool wear and select appropriate tools for each job
• Perform inspections using precision instruments for quality assurance
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience
• Strong ability to read and apply GD&T in machining
• Experience with precision measuring tools and techniques
• Knowledge of effective tooling for various materials
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain attendance
