General Labourer - CNC

CNC Leader

Summary:

The CNC General Labourer is responsible for assisting with various tasks throughout the shop, including but not limited to, quality inspections, forklift operation, shipping/receiving and saw cuts. The primary responsibility of the General Labourer is to improve efficiency and quality in operations.

• Move jobs between departments as required
• Inspect completed jobs to ensure accuracy and quality
• Prep jobs for shipping and maintain responsibility of shipping/receiving functions in the plant
• Perform saw cuts as required
• Assist with CNC machine maintenance
• Perform general custodial duties on shop floor as required
• Maintain a safe, clean and well organized work area
• Work within deadlines and scheduling requirements
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Work in a professional manner and be mindful of other employees
• Work required hours as per current department workload
• Pay close attention to detail
• Maintain good punctuation and attendance
• Must be technically skilled and have the ability to multitask and learn
• Follow line-up from leader and learn company procedures
• Contribute toward departmental objectives
• Any other duties as set out by management
