Operate pharmaceutical processing equipment as a Production Technician with BIOVECTRA, supporting microbial fermentation and API manufacturing on rotating shifts. Use careful process control and troubleshooting.
BIOVECTRA, part of Agilent, manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients and fermentation products for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. As a Production Technician, you will execute routine and complex production processes while supporting safety, quality, and efficiency. Your work includes equipment operation, process monitoring, sampling, documentation, and technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate manual and automated pharmaceutical processing equipment
- Control processes from start-up through shutdown
- Handle hazardous materials safely and properly
- Perform process sampling and testing
- Prepare shift summaries and update Excel spreadsheets
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Applicable post-secondary diploma considered an asset
- Zero to two-plus years in regulated environments is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
