Operate Shocker and Vacuum coolers at Highline in Leamington or Kingsville, recording temperatures and maintaining product quality. This permanent full-time position follows a weekday schedule.
As a Shocker and Vacuum Cooler Operator, you will cool mushrooms to specifications and organize finished product. The work includes operating coolers, moving pallets, using SAP with an RF scanner, and completing documentation. You will support packing lines while following food safety, quality, and safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Load, unload, and operate Shocker and Vacuum coolers
- Record cooler temperatures and ensure products meet specifications
- Move pallets with hand jacks or power jacks
- Receive products through SAP using an RF scanner
- Supply packing lines with masters and empty pallets
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Eligible to work in Canada without restrictions
- Power jack experience is an asset
- Follow GMP, quality, food safety, and safety policies
- Use required personal protective equipment and safety equipment
Bring careful cooler operation, pallet movement, SAP scanning, and documentation skills to Highline's mushroom production locations.
