CNC Lathe Machinist Precision Manufacturing

This CNC Lathe Operator role suits machinists with two to three years of hands-on precision manufacturing experience. You will operate CNC machining centres, interpret GD&T, adjust offsets, and maintain tight tolerances. The work includes varied materials, detailed inspections, documentation, and collaboration with programming, engineering, and quality teams.

• Set up and operate CNC mill and lathe machining centres
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, tolerances, finishes, and datum references
• Load programs and adjust work and tool offsets
• Inspect components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Document results, non-conformances, and setup information

• Two to three years of CNC machining experience
• Practical engineering drawing and GD&T interpretation ability
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and tight tolerances
• Knowledge of speeds, feeds, and tooling selection
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand extended periods
