Christmas Kettle Campaign Assistant

Your role as a Kettle Assistant involves recruiting volunteers, managing schedules, and providing essential support to volunteers and kettle locations.

The Christmas Kettle Assistant is essential for ensuring a smooth and effective campaign. You will engage with volunteers, coordinate kettle operations, and foster positive relationships with community partners. This position requires excellent communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to handle scheduling changes efficiently while upholding The Salvation Army's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit and manage Christmas Kettle volunteers

• Schedule shifts and maintain volunteer communication

• Ensure kettle locations are stocked with supplies

• Assist with volunteer orientation and ongoing support

• Handle donor queries and operational concerns

Requirements:

• One year of related experience or customer service

• High school coursework or equivalent preferred

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 12 kgs (20-25 lbs)
