Join the Hospice team as a Registered Nurse in Leamington, ON, offering quality care during critical end-of-life stages. Experience collaborative nursing focused on patient comfort and dignity.
Working as a part-time RN, you'll use your clinical expertise to assess needs and implement care plans that prioritize quality of life. Engage with patients and families while collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Your role directly impacts patient care and supports the team dynamic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough and ongoing patient assessments
• Develop individualized care plans aligning with patient goals
• Identify and manage palliative care emergencies
• Maintain patient caseload within the nursing scope
• Provide education on the dying process to families
Requirements:
• RN registration in good standing with Ontario
• At least three years of relevant nursing experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to adapt to flexible work schedules
• Demonstrated knowledge of palliative care practices
