In this role, you will ensure quality 24-hour care by supervising nursing staff and completing resident assessments. You’ll be responsible for administering medications and participating in quality improvement programs, all while fostering effective teamwork in a challenging environment. Strong critical thinking and clinical skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality, safe resident care on a 24-hour basis
• Complete assessments and develop care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Document health status changes of residents
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
Requirements:
• Current RN Certificate of Registration
• Experience in nursing within the past 5 years
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act
• Experience in geriatrics is a valuable asset
