As an RPN at Age Care, your role is pivotal in implementing nursing practices and policies while working alongside skilled professionals. You will communicate significant status changes to physicians and ensure that support staff are well-directed in caring for residents, all while promoting a healthy and safe living space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care’s procedures on the unit
• Communicate with physicians about resident changes
• Work collaboratively within the healthcare team
• Provide clear direction to Personal Support Workers
• Engage in shift reporting for care consistency
Requirements:
• Knowledgeable in nursing for geriatric care
• Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations
• Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses
• Active member in good standing with the College
• Strong leadership and collaboration abilities
