Registered Practical Nurse at Hospice

Directly support patients at The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County as a temporary part-time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).

Your role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centric care in hospice settings.
As the RPN, you will collaborate effectively with a diverse team to enhance comfort for patients during their final stages. This role involves engaging with patients and families, creating care plans, and responding to complex clinical needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments for customized care delivery

• Provide medication administration and wound care

• Manage crises related to palliative situations

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in Canada

• Recent Police Record Check necessary

• Valid RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum three years in end-of-life or chronic disease care

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
