Your responsibilities include directing Personal Support Workers and communicating effectively with physicians. Keeping track of all resident status changes is key, especially in the absence of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional nursing care to residents

• Communicate changes in resident status to physicians

• Guide Personal Support Workers on resident care

• Attend shift reports with health care team members

• Input into procedural revisions within the unit

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario

• Knowledge of geriatric and long-term care regulations

• Experience in nursing with focus on rehabilitation

• Strong communication and collaborative skills

• Must be a member in good standing
