Location: Kingsville
Become a Geriatric Nurse at Age Care, where you will provide specialized nursing care to residents in a nurturing community. Leverage your skills in direct care and collaboration with the healthcare team.
In this role as a Registered Practical Nurse, you will support the Registered Nurse in implementing nursing policies and ensure residents’ health needs are addressed. Your knowledge of long-term care and related regulations will guide your actions as you work to maintain communication with physicians and other health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide professional nursing care to residents
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on care strategies
• Monitor and report changes in resident health
• Lead and guide Personal Support Workers' activities
• Conduct shift reports to communicate resident status
Requirements:
• Valid RPN license from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Background in rehabilitation or long-term care nursing
• Familiarity with health safety regulations and acts
• Effective collaboration and communication skills
• Passion for enhancing resident care experience
