Your role will involve significant clinical leadership and teamwork.
Working under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Care/Nurse Manager, this RPN position calls for strong interpersonal skills to effectively support residents. Key responsibilities include completing assessments, facilitating care plans, and managing nursing tasks such as medication administration and documentation. Understanding applicable policies and advocating for residents' rights is vital for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide effective, compassionate nursing care for residents
• Perform detailed assessments and adapt care plans
• Keep effective communication with families and residents
• Support accurate documentation aligned with CNO standards
• Facilitate medication safety and infection prevention practices
Requirements:
• Valid RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certification in CPR/BLS and clear communication skills
• Familiarity with interRAI assessments preferred
• Commitment to FLTCA standards
• Complete a criminal background check as required
