HealthOPM is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for its outpatient procedural clinic. This casual role is perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to contribute to patient care. Key responsibilities include assisting physicians and ensuring patient safety during procedures while maintaining EMR documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Perform patient assessments and review medical history
• Initiate and maintain IV access
• Assist during image-guided and interventional procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures
Requirements:
• RPN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in procedural or interventional settings
• Strong IV insertion and monitoring skills
• Familiarity with infection prevention protocols
