As an RN(EC) specializing in Oncology, you will work autonomously within a collaborative practice model. Your responsibilities will include managing complex patient care, conducting nursing research, and participating in interdisciplinary team discussions. By effectively utilizing your expertise, you will improve patient outcomes and support healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient management
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and analyze data
• Participate in nursing research and education programs
• Guide policy development and professional development activities
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of acute care Nurse Practitioner experience
• Required RN(EC) certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Commitment to oncology certifications
• Oncology experience is preferred
