Starting July 23, 2026, this role offers a starting pay of $32.51 based on agreements. Your responsibilities will include ensuring medication safety, implementing care plans, and prioritizing tasks effectively. Support a vibrant, resident-centered culture while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address individual needs and advocate for resident involvement in care decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively administer medication and treatments
• Routine communication with the care team during rounds
• Maintain adherence to long-term care standards
• Advocate for residents’ participation in care decisions
• Document accurately in the care management system
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• Current Heart Save CPR certification essential
• Knowledge of dementia and palliative practices preferred
• Excellent communication abilities and computer skills
• Capacity to manage the emotional demands of nursing
