Reporting to the Director of Care, this role emphasizes operational and clinical leadership in long-term care. Embrace your passion for making a difference and uphold the Residents’ Bill of Rights while navigating compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead nursing leadership initiatives and maintain compliance
• Foster a respectful, trauma-informed workplace culture
• Guide clinical audits and action planning
• Conduct program evaluations and implement findings
• Collaborate on staff education and training
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse certification with Ontario College of Nurses
• Two years' managerial experience in gerontology
• Proficient with electronic health records systems
• Strong track record in policy development
• Successfully complete TB testing and background checks
