Transform the lives of residents at The Meadows by taking on the role of Licensed Practical Nurse. You will provide essential medical and emotional support and lead a dedicated team.
As an LPN in this forward-thinking Long Term Care Facility, you'll be responsible for ensuring resident needs are met across various shifts. A valid LPN license in Nova Scotia and at least six months of nursing experience are required. Your leadership will help foster a nurturing teamwork environment and improve care quality for our elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and attend to the medical needs of residents
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary caregiving team
• Provide mentorship to junior staff members
• Engage with residents to promote their well-being
• Follow all operational standards and protocols
Requirements:
• Licensed LPN in Nova Scotia is a must
• Minimum 6 months of relevant nursing experience
• CPR and dementia care certification preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Effective at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
