Position: Temporary RPN Role at Hospice
Join The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County as a Registered Practical Nurse in a temporary part-time capacity. This role focuses on providing high-quality end-of-life care in a compassionate setting in Windsor, Ontario.

This position requires you to deliver patient-centered nursing care while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. As an RPN, you'll carry out comprehensive assessments, create tailored care plans, and provide essential hands-on care.

Your role directly impacts the comfort and dignity of patients in their final stages of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients and families

• Develop and update personalized care plans

• Provide direct care, including medication and symptom management

• Evaluate and respond to palliative emergencies

• Educate families on the end-of-life process

Requirements:

• Active RPN license in Ontario

• Minimum three years in palliative or end-of-life care

• Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights

• Exceptional communication skills

• Competence in pain and symptom management
